Clear Creek Energy Services, Jenks, Oklahoma

A Talented Team
Along with Pace and Blackim, the management team consists of President and COO Tim Bolding, Executive VP Mark Bolding and CFO Jeff Young, all of whom boast extensive experience in the industry.  Clear Creek was formed five years ago when Pace joined with predecessor company founder Tim Bolding and three other partners – two of whom are no longer active in the firm – with Blackim and Young joining the group a few years later.

Together, the team has developed the necessary experience “to understand and deal effectively with the needs of the producing community and be proactive in providing midstream services to the energy industry,” Clear Creek explains.

The five partners are active industry advocates, and maintain a high visibility through speaking at industry conferences and joining state organizations, Blackim says.  As a result, the firm can maintain important industry contacts while sharing the story of Clear Creek.

Relationship Focus
Industry relationships are key to Clear Creek, according to Pace.  “We are very much focused on developing and maintaining relationships with our customers,” he asserts.  “We are most effective when we can function as an extension of the customer’s internal work force.  One client made the comment to me that they think of us as part of the family.  Even though it’s a customer relationship, we strive to always be part of the family.”

This philosophy applies to the internal culture of Clear Creek, as well.  Everybody works together to achieve success, Blackim says.  “This is a culture unlike any place I’ve ever been,” he says.  “We’re not only business partners, but we’re also friends. This allows for a strong spirit of cooperation, which is the main reason we can deliver the level of service that we can.”

Current Projects
Clear Creek is currently working on a 20,000+-acre development project in the Piceance Basin of Colorado with PetroHunter Energy Corp. to install low-pressure and high-pressure natural gas gathering pipelines along with compression and gas conditioning equipment.

In addition to other projects under development in the Piceance Basin, Clear Creek also has midstream projects under development and/or evaluation in Wyoming, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
