"Our country has an ongoing need to expand the reach of the existing energy infrastructure to bring new, economical and reliable natural gas supply sources to market,” Jenks, Oklahoma-based Clear Creek Energy Services says. According to CEO Fred Pace, this is precisely what the firm aims to do through working cooperatively with small to mid-sized exploration and processing firms. The company has developed a reputation for success in providing midstream services to independent producers in the energy industry. “What we try to do is provide services to producers that allow them to keep investing in drilling wells, rather than spending money on gathering pipelines and treatment facilities,” Pace explains. “We can bundle these services together, and have the requisite skill sets needed to engineer, construct and operate the necessary facilities by having the depth of financing to own and operate these facilities.” The firm’s equity partner, Energy Spectrum Capital, has given it access to more than $200 million in investment capital to fuel its growth. “Even though we may be smaller than many [master limited partnerships] out there, we have the skill sets and financing necessary to operate more efficiently and be more responsive to customers’ needs,” Vice President of Business Development Kirk Blackim says. “Access to capital and strong commodity prices have made it more difficult to reach some prospective clients; however, we are well suited to assist those producers that are thinly capitalized or in early stages of development as well as those producers who simply value the ability to rely on a professional midstream partner.” In all of its projects, Clear Creek strives to make a lasting impression on clients to secure repeat business. The company works closely with each client, and takes a partnering approach throughout the process. “We like to function as an extension of our client,” Pace asserts. “We’re like a partner in the business, so they know they can rely on us to get the job done right.” |
